First set up an account then after confirmation, access the dashboard with your credentials to begin customizing and training Kotae

Step 1Customizing Kotae’s Tailor Kotae’s appearance to align with your brand and you will be able to set these in the Dashboard as well as:

  1. Give the chatbot a special name
  2. Customize the theme color
  3. Add your company Logo
    • Image size limit: 1MB
    • Supported formats: (png, jpg, jpeg)
  4. Label the pop up bubble
    • invite visitors to chat
    • limited to 35 characters inc. spaces
  5. Welcome visitors with a personalized message
  6. Choose your Website Category
    • Choose which category closely matches the chatbot’s intended use to help provide more context
  7. Add the Escalation Contact Information
    • This information helps ensure unresolved interactions will be redirected to the provided email address, phone number or URL for further support or assistance

Step 2 : Training Kotae

Setting up and managing the data that helps your chatbot understand your business further. You can train the chatbot by scraping your own content in 2 ways (below), optionally for even better results, apply both ways!

  1. (Step 2.1) using website content with your website URL
  2. (Step 2.2) uploading data files manually
    • File size limit (100 MB)
    • Supported formats: (pdf, txt, docx, json, csv)

Once data is trained you will get an email notification that it is ready, optionally you can also delete this data

Step 3Embedding the code on your website
